Procedure
You will be designing travel brochures to be
presented to me via internet.
Include in your talk: How do you plan one?
What do you need to know before you go?
Talk about a holiday you were on and what went into planning it. Did you
have any problems because of bad planning, misinformation or lack of
information?
From
this list, decide what makes a travel brochure attractive, interesting,
informative, etc. This will serve as criteria for assessment of the brochures.
You may use Travel Brochure Guide
to help you
Each brochure should include a brief
description of the city/tourist attraction, geographical location, tourist
sights available (including brief descriptions) and local seasonal weather.
The brochure should also include examples
of:
- hotels/accommodations available
- food and dining
- transportation (optional: flights/trains/boats schedule and
cost)
- prices
- optional: suggested tours
Presentation (you need to talk but you can use images on power points or any other media you may know!
